First I am so proud to have worked for Lifetime during my career and admire and respect their decision to give the reportedly 2 million dollar movie deal to one of the people who has done more then anyone to get justice for Caylee Marie Anthony. The 2 million dollar Lifetime deal was going to be Cindy Anthony’s but after watching her commit perjury on the stand and the jury’s suspicious verdict, Lifetime took away the offer and gave it to Jeff Ashton instead.
Because of that…the story we will hear…will not be one that is favorable to either the defense in this case or the killer of Caylee Anthony, her mother, Casey Anthony. For the first time it is going to be clear to America what went on in this case.

Finally it is the story of the truth of this case!
Jeff Ashton did not fail to convince 98% of trial watchers that Casey Anthony was guilty of first degree murder.
If Jeff Ashton failed at anything…it was underestimating the “morally bankrupt” character of Jose Baez.
If it is the story of a failure…it is the failure of our broken system.
Unscrupulous members of the media showed themselves during this disgrace and forgot about the innocent victim. Instead they enabled a killer and her family to capitalize for money and ratings and tried to push Caylee Anthony aside.
Perhaps it is the story of the failure of Jose Baez?
He failed in his ultimate goal to be a hero.
He failed in his ultimate goal to be a TV talking head and a beloved movie star.

It reminded me of that singing star from the 1950s named Fabian. He was a nobody and as a result of a bet between 2 producers, one saying that he couldn’t be made into a star and the other saying he could take a nobody and turn him into a star…

That’s what desperate and greedy media tried to do here…only in 2008 it was apparently became fashionable to see if they could make ”stars” out of criminals and child killers who hi-jacked the system…and broke the law in front of my face.

I am happy to see that the blood money… that the Anthonys have gotten greedy, amoral media to give them… to put on “freak shows” for the public… is no longer forthcoming and that the people who worked harder then anyone to get justice are the ones who are being rewarded instead.
I enjoyed the interview with Rob Lowe (my new favorite actor) on GMA…I believe the quote was:

The 5th DCA heard the case on Jan 8th, & here it is 19 days/ 13 business days later, with the decision filed & distributed this morning ! That must’ve set a state record !
greenjeans is just fighting any more delays of the Zenaida trial — he wants the courts to force Zenaida’s attorneys to go ahead with the trial [possibly in August], especially if the Appeal is still pending at the Supreme Court level, so monster can continue to claim the 5th.
That’s what he argued before, when Zenaida’s attorneys wanted to postpone the start of the Zenaida trial this month, until AFTER the appeal case was finished. greenjeans fought the delay, but lost. Judge granted the postponement of Zenaida case until this summer or fall.
greenjeans wants monster to be able to continue to hide behind the 5th.
his argument has always been that monster needs “closure” and needs to “get on with her life”, so no more delays in the Zenaida case. He wants monster to be able to plead the 5th and get the case over with. His hope is that Zenaida will lose the case without monster’s testimony.
But, Zenaida’s attorneys are saying, no – we’re content to wait until the Appeal case is completely finished before starting the Zenaida trial, so monster will have no legal right to claim the 5th.
greenjeans was only deferring comments about what will happen next with the appeal, to Mason/Fryer. He did not want to answer reporter’s questions about the appeal, because that is not his area – his area is the Zenaida civil case. I bet greenjeans wishes there was some way for him to get out of the Zenaida case, especially since he is not getting paid!
legal analysts on other forums are saying the Supreme Court does not even have to agree to take the appeal, and probably will not even hear it. Or, if they do hear, they will probably uphold the Appeal Court’s rulings.
So, bring on the civil suits!
and the other thing …. Mason/Fryer get “some” expenses paid on the Appeal, by Florida tax payers because monster is claiming indigency in a criminal case.

I am wondering how much this really matters in the long run?
They have more then enough to prove she lied in a civil case. Even if they… by some chance… set aside all 4 convictions…the burden of proof is a lot less in a civil trial so it should be easy to prove…and she has already served her sentence…so it will just be off her record…which who cares? Everyone knows who she is and what she did.
I don’t like it but at this point I’m assuming it’s a fine point. Does she really benefit that much from this decision? Or is it just her slimy reptile like attorney …grand standing and trying to make himself look good?

“How could you give this abhorent liar air-time in yet another horrific murder case? How is it possible that a man of your stature and background can stoop so low as to give credence to a story of self-defense for a woman who has so blatantly manipulated anyone who will listen to her? Surely you don’t believe that this opportunity you are giving Jose Baez to schmooze his way back into a position of acceptance, will ultimately help this very evil woman! People who seem soft-spoken and well-put together can be extremely dangerous and deceptive, without the possibility of being reformed…this is an obvious fact borne out by the sheer number of repeat,violent offenders who have been incarcerated and then set free once again on society.
For shame, Dr. Drew…you were the only person on HLN I could stomach watching…but you have fallen under the power of greed and fame, much the same as Jose Baez. I will not be watching your show at any time in the future and will send a letter to your network, informing them of the same.”

I’d only watched 1/2 an episode of him since he “finally brought himself” to call killer what she is, a psychopath, & it was when he had the parents of the mentally ill young lady who’d just come out of a brief involuntary commitment to a mental health facility at the end of her college semester & she went to a river to hang herself & the mother found her there two weeks later during a search – I had to hear the mother speak.
I won’t ever watch him again no matter what, if he has bozo on.

Brandy…here are the ratings for headline news Last Monday…obviously Dr. Drew is desperate for ratings and still can’t make the connection between his failing show and his association with the defense team and this killer…and the WHOLESALE distribution by his show…of defense LIES.
